How can you handle and preserve the poultry to avoid the spoilage?


The Europe country relies heavily on meat, but they have also vegetable dishes that can be enjoyed. Europe countries also applies different cooking techniques to make the palatability quality. Food in Europe  are differ from the foods in other countries like Asin, African and American .

The following are the European cuisines I found during my research and their ways of cooking.

1.Steaming vegetable- European countries steamed vegetables. Steaming is one of the healthiest cooking techniques used by European countries. This is one of the best way to keep the vegetable nutrients. It uses steam to cook not from the water directly.  

•Mixed steamed vegetables with a creamy sesame sauce


1.Trim all vegetables, wash them and cut them into bite-sized pieces.

2.Pluck the leaved off the sprouts, blanch and drain well.

3.Heat the pan with oil, then add tomatoes and oil

4.Sauté briefly and keep warm

To make sauce

1.Combine all the ingredients

2.The ingredients are stock, sesame seeds, mustard, soy sauce and sugar

3.Gradually pour the oil while continuously stir the sauce until it will become creamy  

4.Add mayonnaise and stir well.

5.Add the creamy sauce to the vegetable

2.Baked vegetable-This is a cooking of a starchy vegetables using the heat from the oven, starchy vegetables are baked because the dry heat produces a desirable texture.


•Burek- This is one of the finest cuisine in Southeastern Europe.This is a filled pastry made of thin and flaky dough. Ingredients of this food includes, meat, cheese, spinach or potatoe . This food was cook through baking.


1.Mix 1 pound of flour and 1 tablespoon of salt in a bowl.

2.Add 16 ounce of water

3.Mix until you have a dough of a soft and malleable consistency

4.Spread a table cloth across the table

5.Add a pinch of flour on the area where you will knead the dough

6.Knead the dough on the tablecloth

7.Let the dough sit for 15 minutes

8.Dice the veal and onion

9.Add the dice veal and onion to a bowl

10.Add salt and black pepper

11.Mix the content of the bowl

12.Shape the dough

13.Spread vegetable or olive oil on the surface of the flattened dough

14.  Prepare burek

15.Place in pan in the oven and cook at 430 degree C) for 40-50 minutes.

1. Freezing

Food kept in a refrigerator remains fresh for some days. Germs do not grow easily in cool places.

2. Boiling

By this method, we can preserve food for a short period of time. Germs in milk are killed by pasteurization.

3. Salting

We can add salt to preserve pickles and fish.

4. Sweetening

Excess sugar in food also acts as a preservative. We store food for a long time in the form of jams, jellies, and murabbas by adding sugar.

5. Dehydration

In this method, the food items are dried in sun to stop the growth of bacteria in them. Certain foods, like raw mangoes, fishes, potato chips and papads are preserved by this method.
