Example of Proverbs:
1. There is no earthly joy that is not watered with tears.
This proverb means that you won't receive earthly joys or 'rewards in life' if you don't water them with tears or 'work hard for it'. You won't be able to find your true happiness if you don't work hard for it and after all the hardships in life, you'll get the reward that you deserve.
2. The good blessing which is intended for me will come even without my seeking it.
This proverb means that if something or someone is destined to be yours it will be yours no matter what happens. This proverb also teaches us to be positive in every situation because there are times when we feel like we are miserable because we didn't get something that we wanted, not knowing the fact that there are greater things intended for us.
In ancient times, no wonder why for a servant of God who also uses Proverbs became complacent during the use of their service to God, King Solomon is one good example of it.
How does the Proverbs of King Solomon will surely apply for all?
Solomon’s Proverbs can be applied for all:
Proverbs 31:11- Her husband trusts her from his heart, and he lacks nothing of value.
This means that if a husband is to trust only his wife it will be well, happy and secure their marriage.
Proverbs 31:10- Who can find a capable wife? Her value is far more than that of corals.
Who will find a good wife is far more than anything and all family members will rejoice over it.
Proverbs 29:15- The rod and reproof impart wisdom, But a child left unrestrained brings shame on his mother.
If a parents love so much their son without rebuke even often make mistakes, it will bring shame to the parents and may not have a good future.
Proverbs 6:23- For the commandment is a lamp, and the law is a light, and the reproofs of discipline are the way to live.
Proverbs 29:17- Discipline your son and he will bring you rest, And he will give you great pleasure.
While children growing up, without discipline the child may not have a good attitude, so discipline can help a child to achieve a bright future.
Proverbs 17:17- A true friend shows love at all times and is a brother who is born for times of distress.
You will know if your friend is true when times of trouble come. Whether it's a good time or tough times a true friend will never really leave.
